Born to a life of privilege, Antoine DeSaint set out to see the world. During his pre-WWII exploits he wrote some of his most important literary works. The Little Prince was a literary master piece translated into over 250 languages and named the best novel of the 20th century. It is a story adapting a small child’s outlook into the strange adult world through the eyes of a prince. DeSaint was know for his strong passion and humanitarian efforts. During WWII he journeied to the United States in efforts to assist the government with their campaign against Nazi Germany. His many travels are experienced through the tails he wrote about aviation and the human struggle. Antoine’s views on love were refined by the tragedies of war that surrounded him.
